Starry Memories

Elixir

I was the earth orbiting around his sun
For a while his glow sustained me
But then I wanted more
An altered trajectory
edged me closer into his sphere

When the elixir from his eyes fell on me
I stopped, then spun again
His gravity pulled  me to him
my heart on my lips
I rode on his stardust
to a sensuous galaxy
before he streaked out of my reach

Time has not yet eclipsed
those starry memories
