Midweek Motif on Poet’s United: Write a new poem with a secrecy motif or narrative

Nestled among clouds,

the moon keeps her face shrouded.

Hidden beauty shines

on visage of stars,

softly gleaming in the night

sky painted velvet.

Pensive wind’s sighs lift

secrecy’s veil, revealing

masked imperfections

  1. Sadly we are too enamored with perfection and fail to see the whole person who may shine brighter that any pretty face. Great analogy here.
